The physical fitness training part of Trinity Fitness is a “boot camp” style workout with a focus on short but higher intensity exercises. Studies have shown this type of fitness training produces results faster and more effectively than the traditional lower intensity, longer time exercises.
“Treadmills and elliptical trainers have their place, but we want you to get the maximum results possible from your hard work and nothing beats a short, high intensity, blend of cardio and strength training exercises for that.”
The physical fitness part of most workout sessions includes roughly 20 minutes of strength exercise and cardio conditioning with an additional few minutes for warm up. Every workout is adaptable and scalable to your current fitness level so, whether you are coming in off the couch or in good condition there is a place for you at Trinity Fitness.
It is common for a workout to include at least 2 out of 3 of the following components:
- Body weight exercies (situps, pushups, lunges, pull ups, burpees, etc.)
- Free weight exercises (kettle bell swings, medicine ball squats, dumbell press, deadlifts, cleans, etc. )
- Running (400 m run, 100m sprints, etc.)
Workouts take place in a group setting and are always lead by at least one Trinity Fitness Certified Trainer. Each workout is fast paced, challenging and ever changing. Boredom is the enemy – not just mentally but physically.
Trinity Fitness combines spiritual, mental and physical training to promote an overall sense of well being in each individual with no financial obligation to the participant.
A typical session lasts 30 to 45 minutes and begins right on time. The spiritual focus is first with a short devotion and opening prayer. The physical workout is then explained and participants move into the warm up phase and then the workout. A short closing prayer and announcements finish off the session. The atmosphere is extremely positive, encouraging and healthy.
We look forward to seeing you.
“Physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things holding promise for this life and the life to come.”
